Some of our favorites all-around resources in Denver.

These are some of the best places to look for help in Denver if you’re experiencing homelessness or just needing some help navigating a difficult time.

 
 
    • 211 Colorado streamlines services and provides one central location where people can get connected to the resources they need - such as shelter availability, childcare, and rent payment assistance. 

    • Free and multilingual non-emergency health and human services.

    • Open hours in the ‘family room’ Mon-Fri 8:30-5pm. Assistance with housing/food. Weekly meals on Saturday mornings.

    • Male multi-year housing programs for addiction/sober-living, people living with disabilities. 

    • Female multi-year housing programs for homelessness, addiction, single mothers, and those leaving the entertainment industry

    • Learning center for ages 3-12, drop-in youth programs and bible studies

    • Transitional employment opportunities

    • Housing: Housing and resource navigation, rent assistance resources

    • Healthcare: Wide range of health services, help with applying for medicaid - several locations available, including Stout Street Health Center in downtown Denver

      • Stout Street Health Center: Medical and behavioral health care, substance use treatment, dental, vision, and pharmacy services

    • Supportive services: Childcare, employment, Native American services, rural initiatives, peer-led residential community, veteran services, women exiting criminal justice system, benefits eligibility evaluation

HOMELESSNESS

  • Website

    • Day center: Showers, phone, mail, storage, off site storage, clothing, cell phone charging, notary, etc. 

      • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 7am-3pm

      • Wednesday, 7am-1pm (12pm on 3rd wednesday of month)

      • Saturday-Sunday, 7am-2pm

    • Social Services: 1 on 1 case management meetings with staff for shelter, food, clothing, resourcing. Wednesday only (9:30am-11am) 

    • Wellness office: mental and physical healthcare options through partnerships and referrals. Monday-Friday 7:30am-3:00pm

    • Free programs for adult women, their children, and gender diverse individuals

    • Day services at ‘The Mothership”- a refuge and safe haven for youth experiencing homelessness. Three meals a day, laundry services, showers, computer access, day shelter, music studio

    • CCH provides supportive, income-restricted, and transitional housing through 20 housing properties owned and operated by CCH, and assists approximately 1,800 households with housing assistance to find and secure affordable housing options.

      • Wrap-around supportive services such as counseling, life skills training, financial literacy, and employment assistance are available at most locations to support the residents to maintain safe and stable housing

    • 24-7 low-barrier, extended-stay shelter for women, transgender, and nonbinary individuals. Guests staying in the shelter receive meals, access to hot showers, bus tickets, access to health services, toiletries, a clean bed, a phone for local calling, and housing-focused case management.
